OnGuardOnline.gov is a webpage that provides sections focused for Techies, Military, Teacher, Parents, and Children. The educators site focuses on middle and high school teachers with three games focused for the high school age students. The site is build by the federal government with support from many of the departments of government. I was drawn to this site due to having the online support to teacher, students, and parents as well as teaching the students through games so that they are unaware of their learning.
I played a few of the games to try it out and found the games fun and interactive but they do use a higher reading level, so it would not be appropriate with younger students. Some of the games shown above are the ones I played and found educational. The games are amazingly well done and interesting to play, they are not the elementary level games that ask you basic questions as far as should you give your address to a stranger or your phone number but rather give you real life situations that you than have to think about what you really would do in the situation. I actually learned a few things from playing these games.
Apart from the games available on the site there are great resources and short article for parents and teachers to read to help support their students and teachers. The article on cyber bulling was short but informative on how to recognize the signs of your student being bullied online. Included in the available articles is also an article regarding socializing online that covers social networking, chat rooms, and blogs. This article covers online consequences, limiting what you share, manners, profile, and talking to your child. (OnGuard, 2011)

I searched for additional reviews of this site but was unable to find any reviews that were not written from by sites creator. Thought I could not find any outside reviews I did not want this to stop me from reviewing the site. I personally felt this site and the interactive games were too beneficial to not have this on my site as a resource.
